Heading to the Missionary Training Center in Provo, UT

We took Michael to the Indianapolis Airport on Saturday, February 19, 2011. After the mandatory photos and usual tears from mom, he went through security and headed on his way. His last words to us before he headed off through security were, "Game On!"   He spent the next 3 days staying at his grandparents, visiting with college friends, shopping for last minute items to pack, and spending time with aunts, uncles, and cousins. Wednesday morning he and his grandparents went to have him "set apart" as a missionary.  He was given a special blessing by Pres. Rasband, and was made an official missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He entered the MTC about 1:05 that afternoon.  I've posted pictures from the airport as well as pictures his grandparents took at the Provo Temple, of Elder Michael Schulte after he was"set apart" by Pres. Rasband, and unloading and entering the MTC.  Good Luck Elder Schulte!  You are going to be a great missionary!
