9/19

Dear Family,

My family rocks! Sorry, I just wanted that to be the first sentence on the blog this week :P. Seriously though, you all rock. James, you probably made that fresman's day. How is German by the way? Great job in football! You're doing me proud :) I am so happy for Adam on his baptism! That is so wonderful that many were able to attended!  What a great opportunity for missionary work as well!  How are Grandpa and Grandma B doing? That must be fun having them out there for a couple of days! The picture is great. You all look sharp! I'm working hard to stay in shape. I have been jump roping for 20 minutes every morning to try and strip away some fat. Not that you really care to know, haha. I expected (for BYU) to not be so good this year... Jake Heaps just plays so timidly. President wasn't so happy about the football game. He told me about it a little. Sounds like it's a good year for Tom Brady so far! When you mentioned 21 gun salute for James I thought about 21 guns by green day. I received an email from Gramps last week! It was so good to hear from him.  Haha, thanks for the package. I am excited to get it! You're the man, dad.  I will try harder to get more pictures out to you. I have to borrow my companions mini usb to transfer stuff so once I can snag one from somewhere, I'll send them more often. The man we ate dinner with is Nelson from Sri Lanka. He joined the church a little over a year ago and he had us over for dinner. His English has the perfect indian/english accent from TV. I love it! He takes really good care of us. I need to take pictures with our investigators really badly. I don't know why we haven't been doing that. Surniame intrigues me because it doesn't belong in South America at all. It is totally islander and just awesome.  Plus, they speak Dutch. Need I say more? Just check out some pictures, you'll fall in love too :) Our week was good. We had a lot of meetings and the sister's had a baptism! It was excited to see Maarta get baptized on Sunday right after thinking about Adam's baptism on Saturday. We found out on Wednesday that our daily schedule is going to change starting this week. It'll be interesting what happens. I'll let you know how it goes. The Area authority here wants to triple the amount of baptism per year all around Europe so they are making some big things happen. I'm excited. Well it was great to hear from you all! Ellen and Bram are progressing and we hope to set baptismal dates with them soon! Keep them in your prayers! Oh! We had an appointment with Mia from Austria. She was super interested in the Book of Mormon and we are going back over this next week. I guess I need to brush up on my German!  Love you all!

Love,
Elder Schulte
