3/19/12

Dear Family,

Way to go William! Man, I'm so happy for you. I hope the other scholarship goes through as well. That would be fantastic! Paige, nicely done with softball. I'm excited to hear how your season goes. Wow, it's already that time of year. Those pictures probably won't be up for a little bit. I have no way to get them on the computer... I just need a regular sd card reader with a usb attachment.  Laura is having another baby! Please tell her "congrats" for me.

The weather here in Apeldoorn has been incredible. Great weather for talking to people :) I'm so excited as this is the perfect weather for people to be out and about.  It feels so great to feel the sunshine and see all the tulips come up.  Apeldoorn has to be one of he prettiest cities that I have seen over here thus far. It is gorgeous. I hope to stay here a few more transfers.   The work has been going very well. The week had it's quirks but all is well! Our car is working again, we are healthy and alive, we still have people to teach and the weather is great :).  First of all, Sissi was confirmed as a member of the church this week! It was very exciting. Her friend Juana was back again and really likes the church. Due to car issues, we weren't able to have a real appointment with her. Everyday this week, however, Juana and Sissi read in the Book of Mormon. She is very excited to learn more and we're very excited to teach her! Sissi is very enthusiastic about the gospel and loves telling her friends about it. We could all learn from her example, i think. I know i could at least.  The Rensen's are doing very well. Henk is busy doing taxes for a million clients but we were able to meet with them on Friday. Jackie is super excited for her baptism. I hope that we can see that. Amersfoort might be getting missionaries next transfer.
We had a little bit of trouble finding new investigators to teach this week.  Have a lot of potentials, just weren't able to get any fast appointments. This next week will be a lot better.  I've decided that i want to minor in Mandarin. I love the language :D It's so cool, haha.

Sorry that i don't have too much to write about this time around. I love you all! Have a great week and share the gospel with others!

Love,

Elder Schulte
